12 oz box of tricolor rotini
1 large jar of tomato sauce
2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
1 pound of Italian sausage (hot or sweet, as desired)
6 oz of pepperoni
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Boil water and cook the pasta according to the package instructions.
In the meantime, brown the sausage on the stove.
Once the pasta is cooked and drained, add it to a bowl with the italian sausage and tomato sauce, and mix.
Place half of the pasta mixture in a 9x13 stainless steel bake and roast pan. Top with pepperoni and mozzarella cheese. Place the remaining pasta mixture in the pan. Top with pepperoni and mozzarella. Cover with foil.
Bake the pasta dish for about 45 minutes, then remove the foil, and bake for another 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
